Chinese food safety
Chinese food processing plants are staffed by workers with little education these uneducated people are willing to work for the low wages that make it possible to process U.S. chickens in Chinese plants and send them back to America cost effectively. Unfortunately, these mostly poor rural workers have limited knowledge of hygiene and sanitation. Their is also the issue of fake eggs. They are nearly impossible to tell the difference before cracking and far cheaper to make than real eggs are to lay. Fake honey is also a problem. Testing also revealed that 60 percent of the honey sold in stores isn't even close to honey at all, merely colored glucose water. This so called fake honey made and shipped out from China has been found in France and the U.S. as well.

Indonesia executed by firing squad five foreigners and an Indonesian woman convicted on drug trafficking charges despite appeals to spare them, with the government defending the action as necessary to combat the rising drug trade. Four men from Brazil, Malawi, Nigeria and the Netherlands and the Indonesian woman were shot to death simultaneously in pairs just after midnight Saturday, from a high security prison on Nusakambangan island. The other woman from Vietnam was executed in Boyolali, according to Attorney General Office's spokesman Tony Spontana. Both areas are in Central Java province.

Keystone
The debate over the keystone pipe line has been going on for more than four years, before Obama's presidency even started. The plan was to set up a massive pipeline system is designed to carry up to 830,000 barrels of petroleum per day from the oil sands of forests in western Canada through the central united states to oil processing plants in the gulf of mexico, this is supported and funded by an Canadian oil company. Pro's to the Keystone pipeline included trading partners with Canada, an increase in profit, and its a state of the art pipeline which is a more effective and efficient way of transporting oil then by oil tankers, trains, and diesel trucks. Some cons are that the pipe line can be extremely dangerous and environment threatening to the farming fields thorough central us which has already had a decrease in crop production as of last year.

Ferguson Shooting 2014
In all, eight bullet wounds were found in Brown's body, but it is unclear how many were re-entry wounds. "The gunshot wounds of the right chest may represent re-entry wounds from the exiting gunshot wounds to the right arm and/or the right forehead," the report says. Other information in the grand jury testimony included a finding that blood was cleaned off Wilson's firearm before ballistics tests were conducted; a crime laboratory reported a 1.5 gram bag of marijuana was found on Brown's body the drug was found in his blood and urine; and Brown had multiple abrasions on his face hands and torso. These examples were used in court and the grand jury deemed Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson would not be persecuted and not guilty of the crimes accused.

Ukraine conflict of 2014
January 22nd, the date usually celebrated in Ukraine as the Day of Unity between east and west, will now go down in history as the day the two-months-long Euromaidan movement saw its first fatalities as violence escalated in Kyiv’s city center, with internal troops and special forces against the formerly peaceful protesters in a vicious, at times almost violent & a brutal battle. One civic activist was found beaten to death in the woods outside Kyiv, and others were shot as they took part in the standoff. The world will forever remember this day as an violent outbreak caused by the brutality behind Ukraine forces.

Isis's effect on 2014
The military disclosed Tuesday that it is investigating alleged civilian casualties from two airstrikes in Syria and Iraq last year and that it has dismissed 13 other allegations of civilian casualties from airstrikes. Thirteen allegations were deemed unfounded five involving airstrikes in Syria and eight in Iraq. Of the five other allegations, three are being assessed by Central Command and two are under active investigation. They were involved in a total of “fewer than five” alleged civilian casualties and one incident occurred in Iraq and the other in Syria. They did not provide the dates of the strikes but said both happened in late December. The fact that Central Command was investigating allegations of civilian casualties from its bombing campaign was disclosed by the Pentagon's press secretary, Rear Adm. In conclusion the rein of Isis still continues in East and central Asia, but us officials have concluded that troops will be sent in to put an end to these terroristic plots.
Ebloa's effect on the world during 2014
Ebola has killed 5,160 out of 14,098 people infected across eight countries, according to the group’s most recent update, which presents an uncertain stage dented with disappointments but also peaked with some bright points in its effort to bring the Ebola outbreak under control. In one hopeful sign, the rate of Ebola transmission is no longer increasing at a national level in Guinea and Liberia, though some areas of both countries are still seeing an escalation. So hopefully the world health organization will successfully cease and put an end to this deadly virus, and leave this horrifying global outbreak in 2015.

mariah carie
Singer noticeably struggles to hit her usual range on her Christmas classic, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” leading to a social media eruption. Mariah Carey opened the show for NBC’s 2014 live broadcast of “Christmas in Rockefeller Center,” and she bravely chose to do so by singing live, rather than in a pre-recorded segment. Unfortunately for her, it wasn’t her best performance by a long shot.I am, admittedly, a reluctant Mariah apologist, but that being said, I think it's possible that she was just having an off day. Maybe she had a cold, or maybe the weather was trying her out. Hope so at least, because she used to have an 8 octave range (which is insane), and it would be kind of tragic if she'd really lost that much of it.

bill cosby
Three more women went public on Wednesday afternoon in Los Angeles accusing Bill Cosby of sexually assaulting them in the '70s and '80s as their lawyer proposed two ways the beleaguered comedian could deal with the mounting accusations he has been facing for weeks. Asking if Cosby wants to be remembered as a "saint or a sexual predator" and claiming her office has been flooded with calls from women who say they, too, were assaulted by the comedian, civil rights lawyer Gloria Allred outlined two options for Cosby.

The interview
Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show Skylark Tonight. When they discover that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the two least-qualified men imaginable, to assassinate Kim Jong-un.
